  • What are your favorite things about being in this major? 
    • I love the hands-on aspect of this major, and I greatly enjoy working with the students and professors that I have had the privilege to meet. The opportunity that this major provides to make an impact in environmental sustainability is incredibly appealing to me.
  • What is the most interesting thing about your major? 
    • I am incredibly interested in GIS software, which is my current minor and goes hand in hand with my major.
  • Why did you want to pursue this major? 
    • I wanted to help preserve the planet we live on and the natural beauty of the surrounding area that has had an intricate part of shaping me as a person
  • How have your professors and/or staff helped you be successful? 
    • The staff have been incredibly accepting to me in this new major, encouraging me to explore new avenues and opportunities.
  • What is your favorite place on campus?
    • The Student Rec Center, I am a lifeguard there in my spare time.
  • What is your most memorable moment? 
    • WVU Snow Day 2024
  • What is your favorite class and why? 
    • My favorite class is geography because I get to study and make maps using technology.
  • Why did you choose WVU? 
    • I chose WVU because both of my parents went here and I fell in love with the campus and sports teams.
  • What advice would you give to an incoming student in the same major? 
    • Don't be afraid to reach out for help and ask questions! Professors are very helpful.
