“I completed minors in History and Geographic Information Science. I am hoping to be able to use my skills in all three of these areas to create development plans on both the local and global level. I am interested in combining STEM fields like programming and GIS to help further our communities. ”
Alex Ehlers is pursuing a Master's in Geography. Her research focuses on the use of Geographic Information Science/Systems to solve community problems, specifically studying the use of GIS in the Right to Food movement in West Virginia.
Alex was born in Columbus, Ohio, but moved to Morgantown for her undergraduate degree.
