One interesting fact: I served as West Virginia's first youth governor during my senior year of high school for YMCA Youth and Government.

- What are your favorite things about being in this major?
- It will help me learn more about sustainable practices that I can use if I decide to run for public office and pursue a career in environmental law.
- What is the most interesting thing about your major?
- The most interesting thing about my major is that it's brand new and brings courses that haven't been taught here at WVU.
- Why did you want to pursue this major?
- I want to pursue this major because I'm a passionate conservationist and environmentalist
who wants to learn how society can become more sustainable.
- How have your professors and/or staff helped you be successful?
- My professors have helped me learn more about political science and sustainable practices.
- What skills and/or knowledge have you gained that you feel will help you be successful in your future career?
- I've gotten better at communicating and talking to people since coming to college.
- What are your career goals?
- After I complete my undergraduate degrees here at WVU, I want to attend law school
and eventually practice environmental law.

- The WVU vs. Pitt football game

- What experience or class has taught you the most so far?
- Participating in Student Government Association has taught me a lot since I came to WVU
- Why did you choose WVU?
- I chose WVU because it was close to home and an affordable option for undergrad.
- What advice would you give to an incoming student in the same major?
- Remember to balance your new social life with school. It's okay to tell your friends you can't go out because you have homework or a test the next day.
